How to Collect an Army A Dwarf Throng Marches to War.

There are thousands of veteran Games Workshop enthusiasts across the world who collectively hold centuries of experience in the Hobby. GW is lucky enough to employ a few of these seasoned hobbyists. As Warhammer fans everywhere muster their armies for the upcoming Nemesis Crown campaign, we sent out the call to our fellow employees for advice on collecting a Warhammer army. This article is a compilation of their sage wisdom.

Before we start, we would like to introduce these GW veterans.

Dave
Andrews
Dave is a member of the Studio's Hobby Team — you probably saw a lot of his work in the Cities of Death supplement. Dave has played both Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 for many years.
Matt
Lewandowski
Matt works behind the scenes at the US HQ ensuring our independent retailers there get the GW stuff they need, while US White Dwarf readers have seen a few of his modelling projects. The Gods of Chaos have kept their eyes on Matt's Warhammer armies for over 10 years.
Chad
Mierzwa
Readers of the US edition of White Dwarf know Chad well — he used to create all manner of hobby projects for its pages. Now, Chad works in the UK as a part of the Hobby Team. His obsession with the Undead has served him well over his many years of Warhammer play.
Dominic
Murray
As the man in charge of the Hobby Team in the Design Studio, Dom conducts an ensemble of skilled hobbyists in a symphony of terrain and modelling mightyness. Though he's recently focussed on Warhammer to finish his Empire army, Dom has played Warhammer 40,000 for over two decades.
Marc
Raley
Marc is part of the US web team, and several of his painting and modelling projects have appeared online and in White Dwarf. Marc has been painting off and on for almost 20 years and has made Dwarf, Ork, and Imperial Guard armies. He is currently slogging through 2,000 points of Night Goblins.
Jeremy
Vetock
Now the manager of the Games Development team in the GW Design Studio, "Jerm" started his career in the US retail business over a decade ago. He's played Warhammer for over 20 years and has a painted army of well over 10,000 points worth of Orcs & Goblins (among other armies).

Over the next few pages, we'll look at the various topics that apply to collecting a Warhammer force and let these hobbyists weigh in on them.
