Week 4 Report
s the war for the Nemesis Crown enters a new phase, the Dwarfs of Thorgrim Ironfist are in the ascendant, winning many great victories and perhaps even closing in on the location of the Crown itself. But others win honours, too, notably the Bretonnians and the Wood Elves, whose own objectives are furthered with every battle they win.
Other armies find themselves facing defeat if they cannot redouble their efforts or brook new alliances. The Men of the Empire find themselves in debt to the Bretonnians, without whose aid many regions would have slipped into the hands of the forces of darkness, who would then have had free reign to scour the woodlands for the lost Crown.
Meanwhile, others still languish on the brink of disaster. The Beasts of Chaos and the Orcs & Goblins have suffered many terrible defeats. Yet, even as they lick their wounds, fell minds hatch terrible plans of bloodshed and conquest, and once more the forests shall burn and the rivers run red with the blood of those who would possess the Nemesis Crown.High Elves
The courts of Finubar ring with tales of victory in the Old World . The elves of Ulthuan have, with unerring skill and precision, aided the Dwarves on their way to finding the Nemesis Crown by fending off those who would compete with their allies for this greatest prize.
In addition, many bands of the hated Druchii have been forced back from the Great Forest and thousands of slaves have been liberated from the dreaded Arks that would deliver them to the cold lands of Naggaroth. The hopes of the Asur are soaring as their goals are achieved.
The greatest deeds of these times will be made legend for all the future generations to sing. One of these tales describes a host of mighty Dwarfs pursuing an Orc warband heading towards Angelika's Tower. The Dwarfs had harried the Orcs day and night for almost a week and were beginning to tire. It was then that the true cunning of the foul greenskins was revealed. The Dwarven warriors had been led into an ingenious ambush. However, as the stout warriors of Thorgrim prepared to sell their lives as dearly as possible, a terrible cry was heard ringing through the trees on either side of the road. From the darkness amongst the trees emerged the white cloaked elves of Korhil. The axes of these Asur broke the back of the ambushing army and they turned tale and fled. The combined forces of elves and dwarves then cornered the main Orc host destroying it utterly.
Another saga of glory was that of the elf prince Astalariel. Discovering village after village suffering from the raids of the dark elves he pursued their bloody tracks and cornered the vicious Druchii warriors near Mattengrad. Their bloodthirsty cousins were no match for the years of Asur training and the slaves of many towns on the Talabec border have escaped a dreadful end thanks to these brave elven saviours.
