Week 4 Report
s the war for the Nemesis Crown enters a new phase, the Dwarfs of Thorgrim Ironfist are in the ascendant, winning many great victories and perhaps even closing in on the location of the Crown itself. But others win honours, too, notably the Bretonnians and the Wood Elves, whose own objectives are furthered with every battle they win.
Other armies find themselves facing defeat if they cannot redouble their efforts or brook new alliances. The Men of the Empire find themselves in debt to the Bretonnians, without whose aid many regions would have slipped into the hands of the forces of darkness, who would then have had free reign to scour the woodlands for the lost Crown.
Meanwhile, others still languish on the brink of disaster. The Beasts of Chaos and the Orcs & Goblins have suffered many terrible defeats. Yet, even as they lick their wounds, fell minds hatch terrible plans of bloodshed and conquest, and once more the forests shall burn and the rivers run red with the blood of those who would possess the Nemesis Crown.Bretonnians
The noble sons of Bretonnia are leading a full scale war against the invading Undead from the south. The hosts of Settra have suffered terribly at the keen points of the lances of these brave knights and glory and honour are bestowed upon many brave warriors.
The Empire of men has much to thank these brave allies for in this search for the Great Treasure and the knights of Bretonnia know this well. However, the people of the Great Forest have begun to mutter and grumble about “so many foreigners” and “darn outsiders thinkin' they rule the place” and King Leoncoeur has ordered that his followers no longer seek land but pursue only glory and honour in this crusade.
In a deep glade in the Great Forest Sir Henri of Parravon, a brave knight who had fought many battles against the creatures plaguing the forest was chosen to receive a message from the Fey Enchantress herself. Her glorious presence appeared to the noble warrior and instructed him that all the men of Bretonnia should throw themselves into a crusade to rid this forest of evil and all greed should be put aside. Sir Henri rushed to the camp of the King and was proclaimed from that day forth a knight of the Grail. The armies of Bretonnia would now quest to remove all evil presence from the Great Forest and none should stand before them.
